Back up the Historian WebTrend database

Back up the existing Historian WebTrend database to a .wtdb file for easy recovery. This backup is essential for upgrades, migrations, or database loss.
To back up the Historian WebTrend database
  1. Select
    Back Up and Restore Database
    (Back up and restore the Historian WebTrend database).
  2. Under
    Back up the database
    , enter a passphrase to encrypt the backup file.
    The passphrase must meet the following requirements:
    • Length
      : The passphrase must be from 8 through 128 characters.
      Use passphrase that are as long and complex as possible.
    • Complexity
      : The passphrase must include at least three of the following four categories:
      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
      • Lowercase letters (a-z)
      • Numbers (0-9)
      • Special characters (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, \, -, =, [, ], {, }, |, ;, :, ,, ., <, >, ?, ~, `, ", ', \, /)
  3. Confirm the passphrase.
  4. Select
    Back up
    .
    Go to the browser's download folder to find the backup file.
    Ensure that you save your passphrase and .wtdb file securely to prevent unauthorized access. This is crucial for maintaining the security of you accounts and data.
