Edit material class properties

Use this procedure to edit material class properties.
To edit material class properties:
  1. If you need to change the material class properties, select the
    Properties
     tab from the
    Edit Material Class
     dialog box. The currently defined material class properties display in a table format. You can also use a form to make changes. See
    Using a form to edit material class properties
     for more information.

  2. Make the desired changes. You cannot change the
    Type
    .
    IMPORTANT:
    If you are changing a value that contains a decimal, use the Delete key to delete the value before typing a new value containing a decimal. If you type over the old value containing the decimal, the new decimal is not recognized by the application.
  3. If you want to propagate the changes to all material and lot properties that are based on this material class, select
    Synchronize
    .
  4. Click
    Apply
     to save the changes, or click
    OK
     to save the record and close the dialog box.
