Advance settings for FactoryTalk Linx device discovery
The following are the settings on the
Advance
tab of the Device Properties
dialog box.Setting | Description |

Maximum concurrent packets to browse bridged network | Specify the maximum concurrent packets value (the default value is 32, minimum value is 1, maximum value is 64). |
Concurrent processors to upload extended properties | Specifies the concurrent processor threads to upload extended properties (the default value is 5, minimum value is 1, maximum value is 16) |
Terminal file transfer communication packet size | Specify the packet size to communicate with the terminal (the default value is 2000). Note : Update this option to 1400 on a virtual machine to improve performance. |
