Create a subscription (Diagnostics)

Create an event subscription to specify the subscription settings. The newly created subscription removes the default subscription, which includes all areas.
To create a subscription
  1. In FactoryTalk View Studio, open the display that includes the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary object.
  2. Right-click the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary object, and then click
    Properties
    .
  3. On the
    Subscriptions
     tab, under the
    Event subscriptions
    list, click
    Add
    .
  4. Type a unique name for the new subscription.
  5. Under the
    Scopes
    list, click
    Browse
     to specify the scope for the events to subscribe to.
    TIP:
    The default scope is
    (Any scope)
    , which is equivalent to selecting the top node in the
    Select Scope
     browser.
  6. Click
    OK
    .
