Encryption method
Specifies the encryption method used by FactoryTalk-enabled products.
  • Legacy:
     The legacy encryption algorithm ensures compatibility with FactoryTalk Services Platform version 6.31.00 and earlier.
  • Enhanced:
     Uses the enhanced encryption algorithm meets modern security requirements for the FactoryTalk system.
  • If
    Enhanced
     is selected, all clients must be upgraded.
