Enable single sign-on
Use
Single Sign-On Policy Settings
to configure security policy properties to enable single sign-on capability. When single sign-on is enabled, only one logon per directory, on a given computer is allowed. Once logged on, all participating FactoryTalk
products that run in that directory on that computer automatically use those same security credentials. To enable single sign-on
- InFactoryTalk Administration ConsoleExplorer, expandSystem > Policies > System Policies.
- Right-clickSecurity Policyand selectProperties.
- InSecurity Policy Properties, select>to expandSingle Sign-On Policy Settings.
- To the right ofUse single sign-on,select the down arrow.
- ChooseEnabled, then selectOK.
If single sign-on still does not seem to be working properly, the
FactoryTalk
product in use may not support the single sign-on capability. Some FactoryTalk
products always require users to log on, even if single sign-on is enabled.Provide Feedback
