Track system configuration and control changes
Use
Audit Policy Properties
to track what
changes were made to security policies or other objects, who made the changes, and
when the changes were made. By default, audit messages are generated
when configuration and control system changes occur across the FactoryTalk
system.Each
FactoryTalk
product defines its own rules for auditing changes. This means that the messages vary, depending on what products are installed. For example, messages might describe adding and removing control system components, such as areas, applications, graphic displays, and users. Messages could also report on modifications to control system values, such as changes to the properties of a server or changing the value of a tag in a processor. Audit messages are sent to
FactoryTalk Diagnostics
