Add a temporary user account

To allow users to temporarily utilize the privileges of another user in a different group, add a temporary user account.
After adding a temporary user account:
  • Define who is permitted to authorize the user of this account
  • When requested, create a challenge and response scheme for generating the password
The user requesting access and the user authorizing access must reside in the same
FactoryTalk Directory
. Both users must connect to the
FactoryTalk Directory
or use a cached directory. If using a cached directory, it must contain the temporary user account.
