I cannot log on to the FactoryTalk Directory

Before the RSSecurity database is imported into a
FactoryTalk Directory
, log on to that directory. If problems arise logging on to the
FactoryTalk Directory
, it might be because:
  • Logging on to the wrong
    FactoryTalk Directory
    . Verify the Network Directory or Local Directory where to import the RSSecurity database.
  • The
    FactoryTalk Directory
     is not configured on the computer, if the computer is running
    FactoryTalk Automation Platform
     2.00 (CPR 7).
  • The administrator account on the
    FactoryTalk Directory
     is disabled.
  • The physical computer acting as the
    FactoryTalk Directory
     server was replaced, but the name of the new server computer was not changed so
    FactoryTalk Directory
     clients think they are still connected, but they are not.
