Server status of an application

After selecting an application on the main page, the

FactoryTalk

System Status Portal shows the status of all the servers in the application, including HMI,

FactoryTalk Alarms and Events

FactoryTalk Linx

, OPC UA, and OPC DA servers, FactoryTalk Historian SE and ME servers, and standby servers if redundancy is configured.

The following table lists the server statuses and their meanings.

Server status	Description
Active	The server is active and running.
Standby	The redundant server is in the standby mode in an active-standby pair.
Not loaded	The server is not currently in use and has not notified the system that it is running.
Failed	The server has failed. When redundancy is configured, the partner server provides service.
Transitioning	The server is changing from one state to another.
Unknown	The sever is in an unknown state.
