Create a time and date display

At runtime the time and date display shows the current time and date, which the application obtains from the Windows operating system on the runtime computer.
TIP:
The time and date display uses the language, time and date settings specified in Regional and Language Options of Windows Control Panel.
If the operating system settings are different on your development and runtime systems, the runtime settings are used at runtime.
To create a time and date display:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
     editor, select
    Objects
     >
    Advanced
     >
    Time and Date
     or click the time and date icon in the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you intend the display to be.
  3. In the
    Time Date Display Properties
     dialog box, set up the appearance of the display.
