Description
Border style
Select the border style. If the object is a circle or ellipse, the available border styles are None and Line.
Border width
Type the number of pixels for the width of the object’s border.
Back style
Select whether the object background is solid, gradient, or transparent. If you select Transparent, the object’s background is not filled in and any objects behind it show through. If you select Gradient, the object's background is filled with a linear gradient color.
Pattern style
Select a pattern for the object. The pattern appears on the face of the object. The pattern does not cover the object’s border, caption, or image (if any are defined for the object). If the object’s back style is transparent or gradient, the pattern is not visible.
Shape
Select the shape of the object. If the object shape is circle or ellipse, the application applies properties such as size and position by measuring in relation to the object’s bounding box.
Border uses back color
Select this check box to use the object’s background color for the border of the button. If this is not checked, you can assign a separate color to the border, instead of using the object’s background color.
Back color
This field displays the current background color for the object or state. Click it to select another color. If the background style is transparent, the application does not use this background color. If the background style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill. For objects with a line style other than Solid, the background color is used for the spaces between the dots or dashes.
Border color
This field displays the border color for the object or state. Click it to select another color. If Border uses back color is not selected, this color appears at runtime.
Pattern color
This field displays the current pattern color for the object or state. Click it to select another color.
Highlight color
This field displays the current highlight color. Click it to select another color.
For button objects, the button’s border, if any, changes to the highlight color when the operator presses the button at runtime.
Blink
Select this check box if the object’s background is to blink when the object is in this state at runtime. The blink rate is twice per second.
