Velocity Profiles
A velocity profile determines how an axis accelerates and decelerates when a command is
received. You can select between two types of profiles, Trapezoidal or S-curve.
Trapezoidal Profile
The axis accelerates at a constant rate until it reaches the target speed, travels to
a predetermined point, then decelerates at a constant rate to the target
position.
Velocity Profile - Trapezoidal
S-curve Profile
The axis accelerates/decelerates at a fraction of Accel at the start, at Accel in the
middle, and a fraction of Accel towards the end. The acceleration/deceleration rate
is never constant.
Velocity Profile - S-curve
