Axis Behavior at Program Mode, Inhibited, or Communication Fault Mode
When the module is inhibited, transitions to Program Mode, or enters the Communication
Fault state, the axis is disabled (powered off).
When in Program Mode, the module clears the I.Axisxx.BrakeReleased tag immediately so
that the external brake can be applied.
When the module is inhibited, or a communication fault exists, the controller clears the
I.Axisxx.BrakeReleased tag immediately so that the external brake can be applied.
IMPORTANT:
The axis might still be decelerating when the
brake is applied. To help avoid this issue, always disable the axis (clear
O.Axisxx.Enable) before you inhibit the module or enter Program Mode.
