- On the title bar of the client window, selectMaximize. The client window expands to the maximum window size specified for the project.
- PressF11. The client window expands to the full screen of the server and the title bar for theView 5000 Clientwindow no longer appears. PressingF11again reverts the client window to its previous size and redisplays the title bar at the top of the client window.
- Position the insertion point at the edge or corner of the client window until a two-headed arrow appears and then drag to resize the window. The client window reaches a minimum size when dragging where the content is still readable.TIP:Tips:
- Values in elements continue to update when you resize theView 5000 Clientwindow and the elements remain centered.
- Resizing theView 5000 Clientwindow scales the content based in theApplicationsettings inView DesignerunderProject > Propertiesfor the target HMI device for a project:
- Scale with fixed aspect ratio.(Default) Content resizes to fill the window as much as possible and the shape of the content is not impacted. Squares and circles do not elongate into rectangles and ellipses. Screen content is anchored in the middle of the window. Any extra space is added evenly around the content.
- Stretch to fit.Content resizes to fill the window as much as possible and the shape of content is impacted. As you resize the window from wider or narrower and vice versa, squares and circles are elongated into rectangles and ellipses. Wrapped text may wrap at different word boundaries.
- Do not scale.Content retains the same size, shape, and position. If you make theView 5000 Clientwindow smaller than it was originally, content may appear evenly at each window border. Screen content is anchored at the middle of the window.
- When resizing aView 5000 Clientwindow, popups maintain their size, unless the window is smaller than the popup. In this case, popups scale to fit in the window.
- Popups in a resized window maintain their relative positions. A popup in the center of the window will remain in this position.
