Enter data using the Virtual Numeric Keypad

Use the
Virtual Numeric Keypad
to enter data. Touching the screen or graphic element requiring numeric input opens the
Virtual Numeric Keypad
. The minimum and maximum values to enter for the selected element appear below the
Input
box on the
Virtual Numeric Keypad
.
To enter data using the Virtual Numeric Keypad
  1. Touch the screen or graphic element requiring numeric input. The
    Virtual Numeric Keypad
    opens. Any value for the element appears highlighted in the
    Input
    box at the top of the keypad.
  2. Enter or change the data:
    • Select the keys to enter the numeric value.
    • Select
      Positive-Negative Value
      Icon: Negative Positive Numeric Key to toggle the number in the
      Input
      box between a positive and negative number.
    • Select
      Backspace
      Icon: BackspaceKey to delete one number to the left at a time.
    • To remove all of the numbers in the
      Input
      box, select
      Clear
      ViewRTkeybdclear.
  3. To enter the value, select
    OK
    . To close the
    Virtual Numeric Keypad
    and not enter the value, select
    Cancel
    or elsewhere on the screen.
    TIP:
    Tips:
    • A red outline appears around the
      Input
      box for an incorrect entry.
    • To enter a value using an external keyboard, tab to highlight the first key on the
      Virtual Numeric Keypad
      , select the arrow keys to highlight a key,
      and then press
      Enter
      .
