Delete a shortcut

Delete a shortcut from the
Project Explorer
 to remove it from the project. A deleted shortcut no longer appears in the
Navigation menu
 on the HMI device. Deleting a shortcut does not remove the screen linked to the shortcut. The defining screen remains in the
User-Defined Screens
or
Predefined Screens
folder of the
Project Explorer
. Deleting the shortcut designated as the
Home
screen is not allowed. You cannot undelete a shortcut.
Prerequisites
  • If the shortcut to delete is the
    Home
    screen, designate another shortcut as the
    Home
    screen for the project.
To delete a shortcut
  1. In the
    Project Explorer
    , expand the
    Navigation Menu
     folder.
  2. Right-click the shortcut and select
    Delete
    . The shortcut no longer appears in the
    Project Explorer
    .
