Select an input method for the project

Select an input method for HMI devices.
  1. On the
    Project Properties
     dialog box, select the
    Input Method
    tab.
  2. In
    Numeric Input
    , select one of the options:
    • Enter numbers using the Virtual Numeric Keypad
      . Allows the use of the on-screen keypad for entering numbers.
    • Enter numbers inline using a keyboard
      . Allows the use of a physical keyboard, the Operating System virtual keyboard, or other configured input method for entering numbers. Disables the on-screen keypad.
  3. In
    Text Input
    , select one of the options:
    • Enter numbers using the Virtual Standard Keyboard
      . Allows the use of the on-screen keyboard for entering text.
    • Enter numbers inline using a keyboard
      . Allows the use of a physical keyboard, the Operating System virtual keyboard, or other configured input method for entering numbers. Disables the on-screen keyboard.
  4. Select
    OK
