Reuse of user-defined properties in an Add-On Graphic between projects

User-defined properties are copied with the definition of an Add-On Graphic when copying the definition to another project. The user-defined properties of the source Add-On Graphic replace the user-defined properties of the target Add-On Graphic.
If the definition of an Add-On Graphic contains a certain user-defined property, replacing that definition with a version that does not contain that same user-defined property removes the property from the definition and any instances of the Add-On Graphic. The property does not exist in the
Property Definition
tab for the definition of the Add-On Graphic. The property values and any bindings or expressions for that property no longer exist in the
Properties
window for instances of the Add-On Graphic.
If the definition of an Add-On Graphic does not contain a user-defined property, replacing that definition with a version that does contain the user-defined property adds that property to the definition and instances of the Add-On Graphic. The property appears in the
Property Definition
tab for the definition of the Add-On Graphic. The property values and any bindings or expressions for that property appear in the
Properties
window for instances of the Add-On Graphic.
User-defined properties that exist in the existing and replaced versions of an Add-On Graphic remain unchanged.
