Change the revision information of an Add-On Graphic

Change revision information to track changes made to the definition of an Add-On Graphic. Change version numbers to indicate major and minor changes. For example, 2.1 may indicate a first minor change to a second major revision of an Add-On Graphic. Change extended information to include information, such as the validation state of an Add-On Graphic, or a note that describes the differences between versions of the Add-On Graphic.
To change the revision information of an Add-On Graphic
    1. In the
      Project Explorer
      , expand the
      Assets
      and
      Add-On Graphics
      folders to navigate to and select the Add-On Graphic.
    TIP:
    If the definition of the Add-On Graphic is open, you can select the background of the Add-On Graphic.
    In the
    Properties
    window, expand the
    Revision
    category.
  1. Change the following revision information:
    • Major.
      Type a number between 0 and 65535 for the major version of the Add-On Graphic. Change the version number when major changes are made to the definition of the Add-On Graphic. For example, change the major version when additional graphic elements are added to the definition of the Add-On Graphic.
    • Minor.
      Type a number between 0 and 65535 for the minor version of the Add-On Graphic. Change the version number when minor changes are made to the definition or contents of the Add-On Graphic. For example, change the minor version when property values are changed for the existing definition of the Add-On Graphic.
    • Extended.
      Type any additional information about the revision of the Add-On Graphic. For example, enter the validation state of the definition of the Add-On Graphic. Pasting text in this field causes any line breaks of the pasted text to appear as spaces.
    • Note.
      Type a single paragraph description of the differences between revisions of the Add-On Graphic. For example, describe a change in tag type for a graphic element in the definition of the Add-On Graphic.
