Move a graphic element in the definition of an Add-On Graphic

Move graphic elements within an Add-On Graphic to change the appearance of the definition of the Add-On Graphic. Move graphic elements in the definition of an Add-On Graphic like any other screen.

    1. In the Project Explorer, expand the
      Assets
      and
      Add-On Graphics
       folders.
    2. Double-click the Add-On Graphic. The definition of the Add-On Graphic opens in a separate tab.

      Open
       or press
      Enter
      when the Add-On Graphic is selected to open the definition.
    • If an instance of the Add-On Graphic exists on a screen, right-click the Add-On Graphic on the screen or in the
      Graphic Explorer
       and then select
      Open Graphic Definition
       to open the definition. The
      Open Graphic Definition
      option is unavailable for selected groups and multiple selected graphic elements, even if the selection contains an Add-On Graphic.
    Select a graphic element and move it like any other graphic element on a screen. The size and position of the graphic element updates when dragging to resize the graphic element. Smart Guides assist in the alignment of graphic elements within the definition of the Add-On Graphic.

    The Add-On Graphic may resize as graphic elements in the definition are moved:
    • Moving a graphic element closer to the center of the definition of the Add-On Graphic when that graphic element is the only graphic element near the edge of the background of the Add-On Graphic makes the Add-On Graphic smaller.
    • Moving a graphic element off the edge of the background of the Add-On Graphic makes the Add-On Graphic larger.
