Disable a button on an Alarm Manager table
Prevent users from performing certain operations on an Alarm Manager table on the HMI device. For example, to prevent disabling alarms, disable the appropriate button on the alarm table.
On the HMI device, a disabled button has diagonal hash marks across it. If the button is tapped, an

that describes the button that is disabled. To disable a button on an Alarm Manager table
- On the screen, select the Alarm Manager table.
- In thePropertieswindow, select thePropertiestab.
- Expand theGeneralnode.
- Select the check box to disable the desired button and associated operation on the HMI device:
- DisableEnabled. Clear this check box to disableDisable
on the selected alarm table. This prevents stopping an alarm condition from being evaluated, effectively turning off the alarm.
- EnableEnabled. Clear this check box to disableEnable
on the selected alarm table. This prevents allowing an alarm condition from being evaluated again, effectively turning on the alarm.
- ResetCountsEnabled. Clear this check box to disableReset Alarm Counts
on the selected alarm table. This prevents resetting the Alarm Count value of the alarm table to zero. The alarm count indicates the number of times an alarm has gone into the In Alarm State.
- ShelveEnabled. Clear this check box to disableShelve
on the selected alarm table. This stops any instance of preventing the notification of new state changes for an alarm or alarm condition.
- UnshelveEnabled. Clear this check box to disableUnshelve
on the selected alarm table. This prevents resuming the notification of the new state changes of an alarm.
