Before starting your project, take some time to become familiar with the

interface and adjust it to suit your needs. If you are used to working with FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME) to create runtime applications, you will notice there are some differences.

During the planning phase of your project, gather information from a variety of sources so that you have a complete understanding of the automation process and can create screens to support it and establish an effective hierarchy of screens.
