Delete a PDF document from a project

Deleting a PDF from the
Documents
folder:
  • Removes the PDF document from all screens, popups, and Add-On Graphics in the project that reference the PDF.
  • Deletes the references to the PDF from instances of PDF graphic elements and PDF Viewer Add-On Graphics in the project.
  • Removes the name from the
    DocumentName
    property in the
    Properties
    tab for each PDF graphic element and PDF Viewer Add-On Graphic in the project.
The screen containing the PDF graphic element and PDF Viewer Add-On Graphic displays a red outline and a message to select a PDF document when there is no referenced PDF.
IMPORTANT:
Deleting a PDF document cannot be undone. Re-adding a deleted PDF document to a project does not restore the configuration of the PDF document in instances of the PDF graphic element or PDF Viewer Add-On Graphic in the project.
To delete a PDF document from a project
  1. In the
    Project Explorer
    , open the
    Assets > Documents
     folder.
  2. Right-click the PDF document and select
    Delete
    . A prompt appears if a PDF graphic element or PDF Viewer Add-On Graphic in the project references the PDF document.
  3. Select
    Yes
    to delete the PDF document or
    No
    to not delete the PDF document from the project.
