Network Status Indicator
The Network Status Indicator is predefined to show network communication issues and open the screen for configuring the network. This graphic element appears in the
System
category of the Toolbox
.Use the Network Status Indicator to:
- See a visual indicator when there is an issue with the communication of the network.
- Open theNetworkpopup from theSettingsscreen.
- Change the screen theNetwork Status Indicatoropens. To do this, change the screen name in theNavigationTobox of thePropertieswindow for the graphic element.TIP:Tips:
- By default, the Network Status Indicator appears in the System Banner at the top of the screen.
- The Network Status Indicator changes appearance based on the issue:
- Network caution.The network is functioning. However, one or more, but not all, of the controllers associated with the project are not communicating properly. For example, a device may be powered-down. In a 2-port unit, one Ethernet port may be disconnected.
- Network error.The network is not functioning. No Ethernet port is connected, none of the controllers associated with the project are communicating properly, or there is a duplicate IP address.
Built-in Animation Properties
Built-in animation properties appear under the
General
category of the Properties
window. Specify values for these properties in order to animate the graphic element or change the information the graphic element shows on the HMI device. Name | Category | Purpose | Accepted values |

Common properties exist for all graphic elements.

Access | Security | Specifies if all users have access to the control element, or if access is inherited from the screen. |

Angle | Position and Size | Specifies the rotation angle. Enter 180 to display the graphic element upside down. If you enter a value larger than 360, the portion of numeric value that is over 360 becomes the value. For example, enter 380 to see a value of 20. If you enter a value less than 0, the negative value is subtracted from 360. For example, enter -30 to see a value of 330. |
