InfluxDB Measurements

A Measurement acts as a container for tags, fields, and timestamps. Use a measurement name that describes your data.

To assign InfluxDB Measurement name to single node of SOC information model, select the

InfluxDB Measurement

checkbox and provide the Measurements name. This will help to group model nodes in wider measurements in InfluxDB.

When you select a single node, you can assign an additional information attribute "

InfluxDB Measurement

". This attribute will be used to map all tags under this single node to concrete measurement in InfluxDB bucket.

If a node does not use Measurement, an automatic Measurement is given in the InfluxDB application, which is a combination of its parents preceded by the keyword 'FTEG'. For example: FTEG_model01.Node01.

If you want several different nodes to be under one common Measurement, then you should enter its name manually for each node. Then this Measurement name is transferred with Smart Object model as an additional information attribute and decoded and then handled by FactoryTalk Optix.
