Connect to a web application

Connect to a web application to view displays containing information about your plant or process.
FactoryTalk ViewPoint for Machine Edition
 is limited to one connected session with one web browser window or tab.
If all available licenses are in use,
FactoryTalk ViewPoint
 shows the error, "
There are no licenses currently available for the Web browser to use.
"
To connect to a web application
  1. Start a web browser.
  2. In the browser's
    Address
     bar, enter the following URL, replacing
    computer_name_or_ip_address
     with the hostname or IP address of the
    PanelView Plus
     operator terminal:
    http://computer_name_or_ip_address/FTVP
    If the site has an HTTPS binding, enter
    https
    instead of
    http
    .
  3. (optional) If the web application has security enabled:
    1. Enter a username and password.
    2. Click
      Sign in.
