TagDB object

Represents an HMI tag database. Use the object to manage tags and folders in the tag database.
TIP:
Modify the tag database from one instance at one time, such as
FactoryTalk View SE
 Client,
FactoryTalk View Studio
, Tags editor, or the Tag Import and Export Wizard. Otherwise, errors may occur and you may not be able to modify.
It is not a creatable object.
 To obtain a reference to a TagDB object, use one of the following:
  • The global variable
    TagDB
     that is only exposed in VBA and accessible in the current HMI tag database.
  • The
    TagDB
    property of the Display object or the Tag object.
