If you encounter problems when using the Distributed Application Manager tool, see the following guidelines for troubleshooting.
Cannot open project components such as displays and data log files after restoring
This may happen if the operation meets the following three conditions:
- The custom website is enabled and created on the computer where your .apb file is created.
- The custom website is enabled but not created on the computer where you are restoring the application.
- You restore the application with FactoryTalk Directory.
To avoid this issue, after restoring the application, disable the secure website on the computer and restart.
