File integrity Checking

When a
PanelView Plus 7
,
PanelView Plus 6
,
PanelView Plus
,
PanelView Plus Compact
, or
PanelView Plus CE
terminal is powered up, before an application is started, the application file (.mer) and the log files that exist on the terminal are checked for possible corruption. If the integrity check fails, the user has the option to continue or to cancel the loading of the application. Running the application with corrupted files may result in unpredictable terminal operations.
You can disable integrity checking by setting up the
File Integrity Check
options accessed from the
Terminal Settings
dialog box.
