Create an alarm trigger

On the

Triggers

tab of the

Alarm Setup

editor, click

Add

.

In the Trigger dialog box, click the

Browser

button (...) to create a new tag or expression or to select an existing tag to monitor for alarm conditions. Alternatively, you can type a tag or expression. Then click

OK

.

The application reads the tag’s or expression’s value, and generates an alarm when the value matches an alarm message’s trigger value.

Specify the properties in the

Trigger settings

area of the

Triggers

tab.

Click

OK

.

The trigger you create is selected in the

Select Trigger

box.

Repeat steps 2 through 4 to set up additional triggers.
