Options on the E-Signature tab of a graphic object's Properties dialog box

The following table shows the options on the
E-Signature
tab of a graphic object's
Properties
dialog box.
Options
Descriptions
Require Electronic Signature
Select this check box to enable the electronic signature function.
If this check box is clear, all other options on the
E-Signature
tab are disabled.
Allow blank comment
If this check box is selected, the
Comment
box can be empty in the
Electronic Signature
window.
Single Signatory
Configure the single signatory settings.
Require re-authentication
If this check box is selected,password is required on the
Operator
tab in the
Electronic Signature
window.
If this check box is clear, password is not required on the
Operator
tab in the
Electronic Signature
window.
Counter Signatory
Configure the counter signatory settings.
Require counter signature
If this check box is selected, all other options under the
Counter Signatory
settings are enabled. Authentication by another person is required to execute the action.
If this check box is clear, all other options under the
Counter Signatory
settings are disabled. After the operator presses
Accept
in the
Electronic Signature
window, the action will be executed.
Authorized Group
This list includes all the groups in
FactoryTalk
Security. If one group is selected from this list, all members of the selected group can be a supervisor of this object.
You do not need to add the Authorized Group to Runtime Security.
Domain Name
Configure the domain name for the
Electronic Signature
window.
Visible
If this check box is selected, the options under the
Domain Name
settings are enabled, and the
Domain
button and box is visible in the
Electronic Signature
window.
If this check box is clear, the options under the
Domain Name
settings are disabled, and the
Domain
button and box are invisible in the
Electronic Signature
window.
Domain Name
Enter the domain name in this box.
Variable Domain Name
Click the browse button to open the
Tag Browser
, and select a tag from the tag database for the domain name.
Parameter is supported.
Disable
If this check box is selected, the
Domain
button and box is disabled in the
Electronic Signature
window.
If this check box is clear, the
Domain
button and box is enabled in the
Electronic Signature
window.
