Create a text object

Use the text tool to draw a text object to use for labels or instructions on the display.
To create a text object
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
     editor, select
    Objects > Drawing > Text
     or drag Image toolfrom the toolbox.
  2. Press the mouse button, drag the mouse diagonally to draw the object to the desired size, and release the button.
    The
    Text Properties
     dialog box opens.
  3. Enter the text and specify the options.
    TIP:
    • To move the cursor to the next line of text, press
      Enter
      .
    • To use an embedded variable in the text, click
      Insert Variable
      .
    • To create another text object, move to an empty spot in the drawing area, click and drag to create another text object.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
