Create an Information Acknowledge button

The information message display gives the operator runtime messages about information that requires immediate attention. The operator can use the
Information Acknowledge
button to acknowledge the message in the display.
When the operator presses the button, the Ack connection is set to 1 at the data source. The value is held as long as the operator presses the button, or for the acknowledge hold time, whichever is longer. Then the connection is reset to 0.
TIP:
Assign the Ack connection and specify a hold time in the
Information Setup
editor.
The default [INFORMATION] graphic display contains an information message display and the Information Acknowledge button. You can use the [INFORMATION] display as is, or modify the appearance of the button in the display. Or, you can create your own graphic display containing an information message display and Information Acknowledge button that you create.
To create an Information Acknowledge button
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, select
    Objects > Advanced > Information > Acknowledge
or drag Acknowledge from the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the button to be.
  3. Double-click the button to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  4. In the
