The following table shows the options on the
General
tab of the Symbol Properties

Appearance | Specify the object's appearance in this area. |
Border style | Select a border style for the object. If the object shape is circle or ellipse, the available border styles are None and Line . |
Border width | Type the number of pixels for the width of the object’s border. |
Shape | Select the shape of the object. If the object shape is circle or ellipse, the application applies properties such as size and position by measuring in relation to the object’s bounding box. |

Number of states | Select the number of states for the object. |
Trigger type | Select Value to allow the object to trigger a state based on the value of the Value connection.Select LSB to allow the object to trigger a state based on the least significant bit that is set high in the Value connection. |
Image | Enter the file name of the graphic image or click the Browse button to select the file name in the Image Browser . The image appears on the face of the object, to show the information about what the object does.Before you can place an image on the object, you must import the image into the project. You must use a monochrome image with this object. |
