Keys on the external keyboard or keypad

F1

on the keyboard to write the selected character to the scratchpad.

Press the F2 key to toggle between insert and overstrike modes.

F3

to move the cursor in the scratchpad to the left.

Press

F4

to move the cursor in the scratchpad to the right.

Press

Delete

key to clear the scratchpad.

Press the to delete the character to the left of the cursor. Hold the button down to delete multiple characters.

key to move the character highlight to the left.

Right arrow

key to move the character highlight to the right.

key to move the character highlight up to the next higher row.

Down arrow

key to move the character highlight down to the next row down.

key to close the pop-up without writing the string to the Value connection or text box.

key to write the string to the Value connection of a string input enable button or to the text field in the

dialog box.
