Connections for the TerminalInfo ActiveX control

The following table shows the connections to control the operation of the TerminalInfo ActiveX control at runtime.
Connections
Descriptions
Enable
Required
When the assigned tag transitions from zero to non-zero, the control attempts to read and write hardware attribute values to tags every 500ms. Device name and NIC information are only read once.
The connection data type is Integer.
The connection can be a direct tag, a memory tag, or an expression.
CPU Temperature
Optional
The control reads the terminal's CPU temperature and writes the value into the configured tag.
The connection data type is Integer.
The connection can be a direct tag or a memory tag.
Logic Board Temperature
Optional
The control reads the terminal's logic board temperature and writes the value into the configured tag.
The connection data type is Integer.
The connection can be a direct tag or a memory tag.
Display Temperature
Optional
The control reads the terminal's logic board temperature and writes the value into the configured tag. It is supported only on
PanelView Plus 7 Standard
and
PanelView Plus 6
700-1500 terminals.
The connection data type is Double.

The connection data type is String.
The connection can be a direct tag or a memory tag.
NIC1_IPOctet1 - NIC1_IPOctet4
Optional
The control parses the IP address of internal NIC into four parts, and each part is mapped to an integer, then the control writes the integer into the configured tag.
The connection data type is Integer.
The connection can be a direct tag or a memory tag.
NIC1_ Subnet Address
Optional
The control reads the terminal's IP subnet address of the internal NIC and writes the value into the configured tag.
