Paste without localized language strings

The
Paste without localized strings
command enables you to remove all other language strings from an object except the current language in use in the
FactoryTalk View Studio
design environment. When you paste an object using this command, the other language strings are set to UNDEFINED. Except for this difference, this command functions the same as the
Paste
command.
For example, if you copy a momentary push button from an application that has been translated into several languages, and you use the
Paste without localized strings
command to paste the push button into a different application that has been opened in English, only the English string is kept and the other language strings are set to UNDEFINED.
To paste without localized strings
  1. Select the object that contains the localized strings you want to remove.
  2. From the
    Edit

    .
  3. From the

    Paste without localized strings
    .
