Edit an exported Unicode text file in Notepad

Open the file in Notepad. The first seven lines of the file explain what cannot be edited. The text strings that can be edited are enclosed in double quotes.

Make the changes required to translate the strings.

From the

File

menu, select

Save As

. Make sure that

Text Documents [*.txt]

is selected in the

Save as type

box, and

Unicode

is selected in the

Encoding

box. Save the file using its original name or specify a new name.

Close the file and Notepad.
