Configure the FactoryTalk computer for remote audits

On the computer that will be collecting the remote audits, start

FactoryTalk Administration Console

and log in to the Network directory.

From the

Tools

menu, select

FactoryTalk Diagnostics

> Setup

.

From the root of

Diagnostics Setup

, select the check box for

Enable this computer to receive messages broadcast from Windows CE devices or

MobileView

.

The default

Port

number is 4445. You need configure the port number on the terminal.

From the Diagnostics Setup tree, select

Message Routing

. Select the check box for

Accept message from Windows CE devices or

MobileView

.

If

FactoryTalk AssetCentre

is installed on the computer, the

Secured

check boxes are selected in each column by default. To ensure all audit and event messages are received, select all the check boxes for

in each row, including

.
