Insert Unit

The
Insert Unit
 dialog box opens when the operator clicks the
Insert
button on the
Units
 tab of the
RecipePlus
editor. Use this dialog box to create a new unit by pairing existing data sets and tag sets.
If the maximum number of units has already been reached when the
Insert
button is clicked, a warning will be shown and the
Insert Unit
dialog box will not open.
To insert a unit into the recipe file
  1. Give the new unit a name.
  2. Choose a data set for the new unit.
  3. Choose a tag set for the new unit.
Options
  • Enter the name for the new unit
    By default, the new name will be Unit <
    n
    >, where <
    n
    > is the next available number in the series of unit numbers in the recipe file. You can accept this name or type a unique name for the new unit. (This string does not allow runtime language switching.)
  • Select a data set
    Click on the down arrow to open the list of data sets in the recipe file. Click on a data set to select it and write its name into the data set field.
  • Select a tag set
    Click on the down arrow to open the list of tag sets in the recipe file. Click on a tag set to select it and write its name into the tag set field.
