The following table describes the options of selecting the firmware version for a remote upgrade.

Firmware version | The firmware version presently installed on the specified terminal shows here. If no firmware was detected, the word Unknown shows.Firmware version numbers show in the format Major release.Minor release.Patch.Build . For example, the release number 12.01.01.51 means Major release 12, Minor release 01, Patch 01, Build 51. |
Firmware source folder | The default location for firmware upgrade files is C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\Firmware Upgrade .To specify a different folder, click the Browse button and navigate to the folder containing your firmware upgrade source files. When you click OK in the browse window, the folder you have selected will show in the source folder box. |
Upgrade firmware version | The list contains the firmware version numbers of all the firmware source files found in the specified folder that can be used with the specified terminal type. If no usable files are found, the list shows None found .Firmware version numbers show in the format Major release.Minor release.Patch.Build .
