Add a Station Connection Status widget

Add a Station Connection Status widget to monitor the controller connection status.
  1. To add a Station Connection Status widget
  2. From the main toolbar, select
    Template Libraries
    .
  3. In
    Libraries
    , search for
    Station Connection Status
    .
  4. Under
    Components
    , drag
    Station Connection Status
     to
    MainWindow (type)
     or a different UI container in
    Project view
    .
  5. In
    Properties
    , create a dynamic link between
    Station
     and the communication driver station that you want to monitor.
    For more information about dynamic links, see Create dynamic links.
At runtime, the widget displays these LED status indicators:
  • Green LED
    . Connected to the controller.
  • Red LED
    . Disconnected from the controller.
