Site level: Configure Notification

The user can edit, add, and remove the notification for any resource type.
Add Notification Configuration
Perform the following steps to add the notification:
  1. Click
    Configuration
    and go to the
    Notifications
    tab.
    Notifications
  2. Click
    Add
    .
    NOTE:
    If no notification is available previously, click
    Configure
    to add a new notification.
  3. In the
    Notification Configuration
    dialog box, set these parameters:
    • Measurement
      : Select a resource from the drop-down list.
    • Resource Type
      : Select a unit from the drop-down list.
    • Threshold
      : Provide a threshold value.
    • Condition
      : Select a Greater than or a Less than from the drop-down list.
    • Time Scope
      : Select a time scope from the drop-down list.
    • Consecutive Reading
      : Select the number of consecutive readings from the drop-down list.
    • Event Type
      : Select an event type (Alert/Information/Warning) from the drop-down list.
    • Severity
      : Provide a severity level.
    • Push Notification
      : Select a notification type (Dashboard or Dashboard and Email) from the drop-down list.
    • Description
      (Optional): Provide a description of the notification.
  4. Click
    Add
    .
    Add Notification Configuration
    The "
    Notification configuration added successfully
    ” message is displayed.
Delete Notification Configuration
Perform the following steps to delete the notification configuration:
  1. Click
    Configuration
    and go to the
    Notifications
    tab.
  2. Select the required resources checkbox and click
    Remove
    .
  3. In the
    Remove Notification
    dialog box, click
    Remove
    .
    Remove Notification
    The “
    Notification configuration removed successfully
    ” message is displayed.
