Site level: Configure Notification
The user can edit, add, and remove the notification for any resource type.
Add Notification Configuration
Perform the following steps to add the notification:
- ClickConfigurationand go to theNotificationstab.Notifications
- ClickAdd.NOTE:If no notification is available previously, clickConfigureto add a new notification.
- In theNotification Configurationdialog box, set these parameters:
- Measurement: Select a resource from the drop-down list.
- Resource Type: Select a unit from the drop-down list.
- Threshold: Provide a threshold value.
- Condition: Select a Greater than or a Less than from the drop-down list.
- Time Scope: Select a time scope from the drop-down list.
- Consecutive Reading: Select the number of consecutive readings from the drop-down list.
- Event Type: Select an event type (Alert/Information/Warning) from the drop-down list.
- Severity: Provide a severity level.
- Push Notification: Select a notification type (Dashboard or Dashboard and Email) from the drop-down list.
- Description(Optional): Provide a description of the notification.
- ClickAdd.Add Notification ConfigurationThe "Notification configuration added successfully” message is displayed.
Delete Notification Configuration
Perform the following steps to delete the notification configuration:
- ClickConfigurationand go to theNotificationstab.
- Select the required resources checkbox and clickRemove.
- In theRemove Notificationdialog box, clickRemove.
The “Remove NotificationNotification configuration removed successfully” message is displayed.
