is an open system that lets you choose the hardware, software,and control system required to create a complete batch automation solution.
These are the main components of

:
  • FactoryTalk Batch Recipe Editor
    : Used to organize and configure recipes. You can graphically construct recipes using sequential function charts (SFCs).
  • FactoryTalk Batch Equipment Editor
    : Used to configure the area model and create a graphical representation of the process equipment. The components defined in the area model to interface with the process-connected devices in the facility.
  • FactoryTalk Batch
    Server
    : The core of the system, using a View/Server architecture. The server allows for integration with process-connected devices and other software packages.
  • FactoryTalk® Batch View
    : Used to create batches from master recipes, execute the batches, and review batch-related information. It is designed to work in conjunction with a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) application.
