FactoryTalk Batch Windows Firewall exceptions

If the Windows Firewall is enabled when you install
FactoryTalk
 or
FactoryTalk
e
Procedure
 applications, the installation program adds the following exceptions to the local computer:
Windows Firewall Exceptions
  • batchsvr.exe (Batch server installs)
  • NmspHost.exe
  • CodeMeter Runtime Server
  • OPCEnum.exe
  • CodeMeterFWEx1
  • Port 1433 TCP (
    SQL Server
     installs)
  • DaClient.exe
  • Port 137 NetBIOS Name Service
  • EventClientMultiplexer.exe
  • Port 135 TCP
  • EventServer.exe
  • Port 80 TCP
  • Flexsvr.exe
  • RDcyHost.exe
  • FTCounterMonitor.exe
  • RnaDiagnosticsSrv.exe
  • FTSPVStudio.exe
  • RnaDiagReceiver.exe
  • FTSysDiagSvcHost.exe
  • RnaDirServer.exe
  • iexplore.exe
  • RsvcHost.exe
  • Imgrd.exe
  • VStudio.exe
If the Windows Firewall is enabled, and not externally controlled, the
Windows Firewall Configuration Utility
runs automatically during installation. If this utility
does not run automatically, manually run it on each computer in your
FactoryTalk Batch
 system after installing servers or clients.
To manually run the
FactoryTalk
 Windows Firewall Configuration Utility, select
Start > Rockwell Software > Windows Firewall Configuration Utility.
