Windows Automatic Updates

It is recommended, but not required, that the Windows Automatic Updates feature be disabled. Automatically applied patches could result in unpredicted behavior in a production system, such as unplanned reboots and/or functionality changes. Manual patches can be applied after consulting Knowledgebase Document ID: QA2151 – Microsoft Patch Qualification.
