Impacts on FactoryTalk AssetCentre functions if an activation expires

If an activation expires, certain FactoryTalk AssetCentre functions are affected. When FactoryTalk AssetCentre server activation expires, you cannot:
  • Enter design mode
  • View logs
    If server activation expires, FactoryTalk AssetCentre records log entries but you cannot view them.
  • Perform achieve operations except for getting a file or binder.
When a Disaster Recovery activation of a scheduled asset type expires, the following operations are not supported:
  • Create a schedule
  • Run a schedule manually
  • Run a schedule automatically at its next scheduled time
  • Modify timing properties of a schedule
