Items in New Search Wizard: Search Properties dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • Name
    Type a unique name for the search definition, using up to any 60 characters. If you do not provide a name for a search definition, as a default, FactoryTalk AssetCentre will name it
    New Search
     (with a subsequent number for each additional identically named search).
  • Description
    A description of the search definition and the results it is designed to show. For example,
    Users using Logix Designer during first shift.
     There is no character limit for the description.
  • Data Sources
    Select data source for which you want to show the records matching the specified criteria. The data source includes:
    Archive Check In and Check Out Status
    ,
    Archive History
    ,
    Asset Extended Property
    ,
    Audits
    ,
    Diagnostics and Health
    , and
    Events
    . You can only select one data source per search definition.
