Items in Security Configuration dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • Project User Name
    Enter the registered username that is set in GX Works3 to access an encrypted project.
  • Project User Password
    Enter the registered password that is set in GX Works3 to access an encrypted project.
  • Password File Access
    Enter the file password that is used to encrypt the file in the controller to access a protected controller project. You are only allowed to configure the same password for files that are in the controller.
  • Password Remote Connection
    Enter the remote password to establish an authenticated remote connection with the controller.
